How We Operate
Serving the two-county area of Frederick and Carroll Counties in Maryland, Goodwill® strives to bring responsive programs and services to these areas to help meet the needs of individuals facing challenges to employment. Whether for computer training or job placement; transportation solutions or basic life skill development, Goodwill® provides services that enable individuals to obtain employment, increase their self-esteem, and become more productive members of their communities.

We operate in Frederick and Carroll County, Maryland. With retail operations in Eldersburg, Frederick, Thurmont, Westminster and Hampstead, program services, retail training, and employment are available. In addition to services provided at our retail sites, we also outreach to our local communities to provide cost-effective service programs to meet our mission, and partner with other organizations who recognize the value of working with our Goodwill® organization.
The Eldersburg store on Liberty Road; Frederick-based stores on Church Street and Route 85 (Buckeystown Pike); the Thurmont store on East Main Street; the Westminster store on Baltimore Boulevard and the Hampstead store on Hanover Pike each carry large arrays of merchandise, accept donations, provide in-store job kiosks and community job boards to allow on-site job-readiness service access, and conduct both storewide and store-specific events seven days a week.
