Going "Green"

Today people are looking for more ways to conserve our natural resources, but Goodwill® has always been involved in recycling. For over 105 years, Goodwill® has recycled clothes, shoes, metal, and cardboard, yet we spend over $60,000 to dispose of trash each year. Needless to say, it's a matter of economics for us, in addition to being a moral issue. We are looking into ways that Goodwill® can be more effective in recycling donated goods, specifically electronics, paper, and plastics.
