Going Green Isn’t Just for the Irish

Goodwill® is celebrating being green thanks to your help and support! In 2011 alone, Goodwill® Industries of Monocacy Valley, Inc. diverted over seven million pounds of clothing and household goods from landfills by recovering the value in people’s unwanted material goods. In the midst of this process, we created job-training opportunities, as well as entry-level and skilled green-collar jobs for people facing challenges to employment.

Donating to Goodwill isn’t the only pot of gold you’ll strike! This St. Patrick’s Day, shop in one of our eight retail stores located in Frederick and Carroll Counties where you will not only buy green, but also save green.
