Why: Provide information to older Veterans on how to save money when enrolling in Medicare. Open Season for Medicare happens in October. You will learn about:
- Extra coverage beyond your VA benefits
- Low-to-no-cost monthly premiums
- Part B premium reduction
- Additional benefits, like dental, vision, hearing and over-the-counter allowances
- Backup coverages when VA is unavailable
