Veteran Services Program

We are dedicated to helping our military heroes. Through our partnership with Platoon 22, The Platoon Veteran Services Center (VSC), opening in spring 2022, will offer essential services to veterans as they return from their military experience. Services provided will focus on supporting veterans and their families and will include several organizations and programs specifically dedicated to our heroes.

The Platoon Veteran Services Center On-Site at Goodwill will offer:

• Creating a location for recreation and fellowship
• Fostering an environment for obtaining Veterans Health Administration benefits and supporting services
• Ensuring access to counseling and rehabilitative services
• Increasing employability of veterans through career coaching and training opportunities
• Reducing occurrences of homelessness and families living at or below poverty levels
• Spreading awareness regarding suicide prevention and resources available for the veteran community
• Strategic partnership with the larger veteran services community to promote best practices in service delivery, streamlining of resources, and seamlessness in programmatic referrals
