Is Your Community Hosting a Yard Sale? We Can Help!

Hosting a Yard Sale? We’ll Take Your Leftovers!

Do you always have tons of stuff left over after a yard sale? With the weather heating up, save yourself the hassle and misery of loading up the leftovers to take back into your newly organized home, shed, or basement. Here at Goodwill, we are pleased to offer multi-family yard sale pick up service with two weeks’ notice. When you donate these items, not only are you saving time from having to drag the items back into your home, but you are helping people achieve their full potential through the dignity and power of work! The sales from these donations help fund job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who have disabilities, lack education or job experience, or face employment challenges.

In order to be cost effective for everyone involved, we ask that the pickup be from a minimum of five or more families. We are able to pick up seven days a week from Carroll and Frederick Counties, and donation receipts are available by US Mail or e-mail if requested. Contact Amy Castle-Rogers, Community Donations Manager at acastlerogers@gimv.org and we’ll come lift your burden of yard sale leftovers by collecting them!
